After the success of our first three editions in 2023, we're back with a fresh curated lineup of talented painters, photographers, illustrators, sculptors and digital artists to start the year of right!

Join us for this creative and inspiring day where you can: 🎨 Explore New Talent: Be at the forefront of the art scene and witness the emergence of new talent (!!) 🤝 Support Local Artistry: Engage with and invest in the art community right here in Amsterdam-Noord, empowering local talents (!!) We made sure there is art available for each type of income, making art accessable for everyone! Think: postcards for a couple of euro's and art-prints around 30-60 euro's!

IN HET DONKER

Ontdek de kracht van kunst om het gesprek over mentaal welzijn en depressie te stimuleren. Expocafé ZAMEN presenteert met trots de opening van “IN HET DONKER”, een expositie waar vijf kunstenaars werken tonen die allen werken vanuit of met deze duisternis. De werken gaan met elkaar in dialoog, verzwaren en verlichten elkaar, en brengen de grimmige kanten van de geest in taal, beeld, licht en vorm samen. Mis deze unieke verzameling werken niet!

De opening wordt gevierd met live performances, muziek, dans en poëzie. Een avond vol inspiratie en creativiteit die je niet wilt missen! Toegang is gratis. Met werken van; @lennyvanhout, @silviekonings, @julia.hooy, @madison_osidam en Bas Krommenhoek vertegenwoordigd door @elsavanderkooy. Dit is een oproep tot een open gesprek over mentaal welzijn en depressie. Laten we samen bewustzijn vergroten, stigma’s doorbreken en gemeenschappen verenigen in het begrijpen van deze belangrijke kwesties.

After a succesful first edition, Kunstmarkt Noord is back! On the 4th and 5th of november Expocafé Zamen will open it’s doors once again to host Kunstmarkt Noord XL. This time we're kicking it up a notch, making it a two day event, with twice as much space. Both the café as well as the big halls of the wharf behind it will be used to place 30+ artists and make space for music and performances. You're also at the right address to have a drink and/or a snack in the café area + outside terrace.
