Stichting Z.A.C.A
Stichting ZAMEN Art and Culture Amsterdam (Z.A.C.A.) is dedicated to empowering emerging artists while fostering a vibrant community around visual arts in Amsterdam. In 2024, we hosted group exhibitions centered on current societal themes, bringing together artists with diverse perspectives to promote understanding and encourage the formation of new communities and initiatives.
We believe in making art accessible for all. Our exhibitions provide both novice and established artists the opportunity to showcase their work, while our monthly Kunstmarkt Noord offers a welcoming environment for buying and selling art. The concept of Kunstmarkt Noord is founded by Lisa van Oosten and Lana van Beelen. Launched in late 2023, the market has quickly become a flagship event for Z.A.C.A., and our focus will be on expanding this initiative in 2025.
Founded in September 2023 by Lana van Beelen, Z.A.C.A. thrived at the Zamenhofterrein in Amsterdam Noord. One of the last independent creative hubs in Amsterdam. Lana, alongside a talented team including artist Lisa van Oosten and a dedicated board, works collaboratively to support artists and promote cultural engagement.
Our board members bring a wealth of experience and creativity: Ike Melchizedek, a musician and designer; Meier Boersma, a business consultant specializing in creative entrepreneurship; and Willie Felice, a renowned visual artist with a rich background in theater and art history.
Join us in celebrating creativity, connecting with diverse communities, and supporting the next generation of artists. At Z.A.C.A., art is for everyone.
