Emre Arikan (1999) is a Turkish artist and printmaker based in Amsterdam. He graduated as an urban planner in 2022 where he started working with woodcuts and linocuts. “After being immersed in traditional ways of cutting contrast, relationship between the positive and negative, I started working the grey areas, the lines in between.”

He drives his inspiration from his intiution, nature, esoteric knowledge, symbolism, and folk stories. For him, art is a tool to solidify the intangable, a way to communicate with one’s nature.
